2024-Present
CES
In 2024, we transformed Google's presence at CES by creating an ambitious 18,000-square-foot interactive space that showcased Android's latest features through immersive storytelling. Breaking from Google's traditionally minimalist approach, our vision centered on a striking 80-foot overhead canopy—a first at CES—housing 15 analog-inspired interactive experiences across four connected zones. Through strategic design thinking, we made Google's AI-powered features approachable through familiar, real-world objects, like transforming Magic Compose into a playful postcard station. The result was an immersive pavilion that drew over 21,000 engaged visitors who spent an average of 14 minutes exploring how Google connects with audiences at tech's biggest showcase.

Retail Innovation
We designed and built the new adidas Originals' Los Angeles flagship—more than a retail space, it's a cultural institution bridging retail, art, and community. The multi-level space features distinctive zones showcasing the intersection of adidas' heritage with LA's creative culture through shoppable demonstrations of shared values. The Underground (opening in 2025) hosts events, educational programs, and artistic collaborations, while a curated mosaic of local collectibles anchors the experience in downtown LA's unique identity. Every detail was considered, down to creating a signature scent for the space. This immersive approach unites commerce with culture, making the flagship store an epicenter of originality in one of retail's most competitive markets.

Kiki
In 2024, we collaborated with NHK Enterprises Inc. and NHK Global Media Services to create KIKI, the world's first text-to-sign translation engine for emergency alerts. Combining advanced 3D technology with an extensive database of Japanese Sign Language, we developed a lifelike virtual avatar that translates emergency messages into sign language in under 10 seconds. This groundbreaking system proved vital during Japan's 7.6 magnitude earthquake in January 2024, delivering life-saving alerts to over 300,000 members of Japan's Deaf community. Now deployed across digital and physical environments including museums and schools, KIKI represents a new era in accessibility, reimagining how digital experiences can create meaningful impact for traditionally underserved communities.

Pop Star
In 2022, we transformed a defunct space at Hersheypark into the park's first fully immersive entertainment experience. Taking PepsiCo's core principle of effervescent joy, we created an interactive journey that turned visitors into stars through private dance pods where guests' selfies became customizable digital avatars that coached them through choreography. This innovative approach reimagined how a brand could come to life through physical movement and digital interaction, creating a perfect fusion of technology and pure joy.

RYVL
Through deep market and design research, we uncovered that 64% of young Premier League fans now prefer social media over traditional TV coverage, with many simultaneously gaming and engaging on second screens during live sports. To address this evolving behavior, we designed RYVL, a revolutionary live action network that integrates exclusive content, social interaction, and real-time match engagement—essentially creating the world's first sports metaverse. With 823.5 million Premier League viewers under 34, the platform demonstrates significant market potential through multiple revenue streams from advertising to digital drops. After validating the concept with a working prototype, we successfully expanded this model to reimagine the NBA fan experience as well.

The Deep Affinity Lab
In 2017, I founded and directed the Deep Affinity Lab, a social speculation laboratory exploring how artificial intelligence could bridge human and ecological systems. Breaking from traditional AI narratives focused on human-centric applications, we envisioned a future where intelligent machines enhance our understanding of and connection to the natural world. Through immersive workshops, design fiction, and community engagements, we built a network of over 100 practitioners reimagining AI's role in ecological empathy. This work established new principles for scaling speculative design, demonstrating how collective imagination could transform emerging technology into a solution for climate change rather than an existential threat.
